Hawk Tuah Girl Memecoin Scam: Youtube Investigator Claims ‘She Didn’t Rug $50M’

A popular TikToker, Hailey Welch, created highlights about launching a meme coin a few days ago. However, the highlights soon turned into criticism and legal threats after the token crashed within a few hours of the launch due to mass selling. Many have claimed this to be insider trading, but the Hawk coin team claims it is the snipers. Regardless, the holders became the victims as many lost their entire investment. However, a popular YouTube investigator, Coffeezilla, brought a totally unique revelation to this Hawk Tuah Girl memecoin scam, claiming that the reality is different from what many claim.

Hawk Tuah Girl Memecoin Scam Didn’t Rug $50M But $3M

The Hawk Tuah Girl Memecoin Scam unfolded when the Hawk coin’s price and market cap surged to a high on December 4 but dropped 91% within three hours.  The on-chain report revealed the mass selling of the tokens from the top token holders, which raised suspicion of insider trading. The Bubblemaps reports confirmed that 96% of the Hawk meme coin supply is intertwined and clustered in one single place, which resulted in mass selling.

With much such information, a few analysts, like Nirsex, claimed that this Hawk Tuah Girl memecoin scam probably made $50M to Hailey Welch. However, that is controversial, as the YouTube investigator claims that ‘She didn’t rug $50M.’ However, this does not also mean that there was no scam, as the investor asserted there was a scam, especially in the tokenomics of the token.

Through an X post and a full 24-minute YouTube video, the YouTuber Coffeezilla claimed that she did rug for 500M and did not profit $50M. Instead, she might have made around $1M in fees scam. More importantly, this Hawk Tuah Girl Memecoin Scam took place as the team presold a few million tokens to ‘strategic investors’ who crashed the price with mass selling.

Can yall stop these insane headlines.
She didn’t rug for 500M and she didn’t profit $50M. FFS.

1. The team presold a few million to “strategic advisors” who sold early.
2. The token got sniped.
3. LP made >$1m on 15% fees according to the meteora tracker. https://t.co/drp6RlGog0

Breaking Down Coffeezilla’s Report on Hawk Coin Scam

The popular Youtuber Coffeezilla, with 638k followers, interacted with the popular Solana memecoin, Hawk coin team through an X live called “The Hawk Truth.” With that live, the creator interacted with three important people from this Hawk Girl coin project, including Hailey Welch, Howie Mandel, and a person who is actually managing the token. However, the X live remained inconclusive as the team failed to properly answer Coffeezilla’s questions, leading him to claim that

“This is the worst tokenomics I have ever seen, and It is a scam. Tokenomics is a scam, that is my opinion.”

Presale Led To Mass Selling

Ceffeezilla explained the Hawk Tuah Girl memecoin scam in a 24-minute YouTube video. He revealed that the reason behind this crash was that the Hawk coin team released only 3% to the Meteora pool and left the 17% allocation unlocked from day one, which led to early access, making heavy profits for early joiners and sellers.

“You guys released 3% to Meteroa while you have 17% percent of the token allocation unlocked day one on from your strategic allocation. Are you guys insane? What do you guys think exactly is going to happen when your insiders   get sent their tokens?”

More importantly, the team had this presale, which sold millions of tokens to 285 investors per Bubblemaps report. Out of these 89 wallets sold all of their Hawk coin holdings, 47 wallets sold more than 50%, 19 wallets sold less than 50% of the total holdings, and the remaining 130 HODL the token.

1/ We found that 285 investors joined $HAWK presale

• 89 wallets sold 100%
• 47 wallets sold ≥ 50%
• 19 wallets sold < 50%
• 130 wallets sold 0

Total sold: $3.3M

The YouTube investigator agreed with the stats, claiming that his on-chain analysis had the same result, which is why the token crashed. In this, one crypto trader lost $1.4 Million in just 15 mins as invested right before the token collapsed 91%.

Trading Fees Scam

Dexscreener data indicates that the biggest sniper has made $1.3M in profits.  However, the Hawk coin team made the biggest profit even without the Hawk Tuah Girl memecoin scam as they introduced heavy trading fees of 15%, making almost $3M within 24 hours of the launch.

During the X life, Coffeezilla also claimed that they generated millions of dollars in fees while the fans got the rug pulled not only from snipers but from insiders as well. He mentioned that the on-chain data indicates direct transactions from the main account, making 50k, which indicates insider trading. However, the team did not respond to the allegations entirely and joked that they would not sell for just $50K.

Nevertheless, they did answer to high fees, revealing that this was required to run the project. Additionally, in an earlier X post, Haley claimed that the high fees were to limit the snipers from mass selling, but that failed.

Concluding Findings on the Hawk Tuah Girl Memecoin Scam

Overall, the Coffeezilla claims state that apart from the possibility of insider trading, the Hawk Tuah girls and the team have made $2.8M in trading fees, which is a scam itself. More importantly, the token creators fooled the audience as the victims were Hailey Welch’s followers who lacked even basic crypto knowledge. The YouTube creator also showed concerns over transparency, as the team failed to acknowledge their mistakes, especially selling Hawk coins before launch, leading to uncontrolled selling. Another important point highlights that the ownership of the project is unclear as to who owns the profits and in what percentage, creating accountability concerns. However, he also acknowledged that the role of Hayley Welch in the Hawk Tuah Girl memecoin scam is unclear, especially about making $50M.
